Earthquake Resistant

What do you consider to ensure your life and property safety when buying a house? Is it enough that the house you buy is just visually beautiful and useful? Selvi İnşaat offers you not only a beautifully designed and comfortable project, but also an earthquake resistant and reliable living space. For this, the Soil Injection System, which is not used in the buildings in Gazipaşa, is applied for the first time. Soil Injection is a ground improvement technique used for filling voids in order to increase the bearing capacity of buildings and to minimize settlements. In this way, the building’s basement is strengthened against earthquakes and tremors.

Beside Soil Injection, the Double layer basement tanking system (waterproofing) is applied for the first time for our building in the Project, which is not available in others in Gazipaşa. Basement waterproofing is coating of the building basmeent with a membrane layer. The reactions caused by the contact of the concrete and the iron in it with water decompose the iron and reduce its strength. In addition, rust, which is formed by the interaction of water and iron, is the most important factor that causes concrete to crack and disperse. With this application, it is ensured that the basement on which the property is built is preserved by cutting off all its relation with external factors. The protection of the basement not only increases the earthquake resistance, but also prevents the problems that may occur later in the building while it is still in the construction phase.

Generally, duplex lofts are masonry and roof ceilings of buildings are made up of using profile, wood, etc. rather than reinforced concrete. Reinforced concrete column/beam system is applied on the roof of our project and the roof covering is constructed as reinforced concrete with all water, heat and sound insulation. Insulated roof system is applied. With this type of construction, the durability of the building is increased and the attic is strengthened against negative environmental factors.
